They are very lightweight and fold up really tiny, so they barely take up any room in the diaper bag. I can fit about 3 used full-size prefolds per bag, which is usually plenty, though I always carry an extra just in case. They've contained messes and smells just fine. And, they're cute!

Ok, so I've had this bottle for exactly 3 days now and I LOVE it. It's stylish, doesn't leak, and insulates well. I have only used it with cold liquids but was interested in using it for hot as well.

I wanted to find out why the manufacturer states that it shouldn't be used for hot liquids. The scalding reason seemed insufficient since there are so many other similar Thermos products that can be used for both hot and cold.

I did a lot of research on this product, because I was already completely sold on steam cleaning (I have a Scunci SS1000, on its last gasps of steam, and wanted to update). I've been using the Scunci mostly in the bathroom and kitchen, and started working on my patio railing, gunked up after not being cleaned in a few years, and decided I needed more firepower, and greater tank capacity.

I figured the "mixed" reviews on the Shark Pocket Steamer were from folks that didn't understand the steam cleaning idea, so I ignored those whimpering fools (a group which I joined when I bought this thing), and ordered it. The variety of applications for the unique steaming pockets, and the garment capabilities were strong appeals, and I'd been ga-ga from the TV commercials.

There's only one problem. It sucks. Not like a vacuum cleaner, but like a product whose plastic isn't worth recycling. It doesn't put out much steam, with very little pressure. And that's pretty much the story.

After somewhat obsessive research for something effective at a reasonable cost, I found a line of products sold by the Steamfast company under other names (Steamfast, McCullough, and I believe Wagner, with the same idiosyncratic product shape). The customer service reps said there's no difference among Steamfast and McCullough, and that their products put out 30+ psi -- that pressure doesn't have a fair comparison with the Shark Pocket Steamer, because the Shark folks said they had no such measure -- for good reason, because their tinny, finny, crappy product doesn't put out much pressure. Or steam. It has to rev up, coughs out a weak flow of steam, takes 10 seconds to stop spraying...it's really j-u-n-k.

I've got a Steamfast 275 on the way from Amazon, which was my first choice before I was bamboozled by the gadgetry and unique features of the Shark (which unfortunately don't work). The 275 has greater capacity, stronger psi, and I really like the idea of the "continuous" shpritz button to work on that railing and my mattress, and I'm hoping for the best -- I'll probably review it there. Among the Steamfast "family" of products, the product to buy is the Steamfast 275, because it was a 2-year warranty, double the warranties of their other identical products. My research, your gain. No sweat, just steam. Peace out.

I purchased this dehumidifier last July for use in my basement. And it worked great until last fall when I shut it down for the winter. I started it up this spring and it ran great, only it failed to produce a single drop of water. It looks brand new, the fan works great, all the lights come on, only it doesn't do what it was designed for or purchased for. I had an electrician look at it and he declared it electrically sound. I won't pay close to a hundred dollars to ship it back. I want it to work.

If you are thinking about purchasing this unit, I suggest you read the reviews. Many people say the unit works great. But those reviews are often written by folks who have owned the unit for a short time. Many who have had the unit around a year find that it often doesn't outlast the warranty. Basically it seems to be a crap shoot.

I wish I could say that I have had better luck with other dehumidifiers, but I have not and reading others reviews, it seems that dehumidifiers that you pay $150.00, $200.00 or even $300.00 for are considered consumables by the folks who make them.

So.... my new strategy is to concede that dehumidifiers are basically cheaply made pieces of junk that if you get a year out of you're doing well. I will trot on down to Walmart or it's kin and buy one of the less expensive disposables .. and when it has breathed it's last I'll add it to the landfill with all the other trash.

The pages are divided into two bunches, one of either side of the case; this makes it easy to open the case and find the disc you want. It also helps with organizing. The sleeves themselves are lined with soft material, so your discs are well protected (regardless of what another reviewer has stated). It has a sturdy zipper and surprisingly strong handle.

The lips around the edges of the case are part of what makes the case so sturdy, but they can also interfere with getting discs in and out; and it is hard to get the case to stay open if both halves are not lying flat.

Since I can't review the 80-disc case separately, I'll have to do so here. The 80-disc case is as well constructed as the above, but it has a serious flaw. Like another reviewer has stated, it is impossible to close the case if it is full. I don't think you could even fill it to capacity. For my purposes, this is okay, but it is something you should take into account before buying this version. There is no handle, but you don't really need it on a small case.

I would recommend the 320-disc case to anyone who needs more capacity. You could also get the 240-disc version, but this is a better deal, and it leaves you room to expand. I'll give a qualified recommendation for the 80-disc case; it's good, but don't expect to fill it. I've bought two of the 320-disc cases, one 240-disc case, and four of the 80-disc cases, and I'm thinking about two more of the latter.

When I purchased my new sofa, I knew immediately that I wanted to get an upholstery cleaner to keep it looking new as long as possible. We have 2 small children and a cat, so I knew spills were inevitable. When the vivid green icing from my son's first birthday cake ended up on the khaki sofa cushion, I knew it was time to purchase. I came on Amazon and, after reading reviews, I settled on this one.

I'v used it a few times now and have been consistantly pleased with the cleaning performance. The aforementioned grass-green frosting came out, even having to wait over the weekend for shipping. We've cleaned coffee, soda and baby messes up with it so far and haven't been let down yet. It uses very little solution in proportion to the water tank, so the little bottle that comes with it is good for 3 or 4 cleanings before you have to buy more. It also smells nice, without being overpowering.

Now for the drawbacks: As others have mentioned, the spray is a lot wider than you'd anticipate when looking at the nozzle. Not a huge deal, but it takes some getting used to. The biggest issue is that, when we stored it with the cleaning solution still in the tank, it leaked all over our floor! We tried making sure the cap was tightened a bit more the next time, but it did the same thing. We'll be storing it without the solution in it from now on. I don't mind too much, because I'd like to use fresh hot water for each batch anyway. I just don't like the potential waste if I don't use up all the solution when cleaning.

Cheapest Brita Refrigerator Replacement Filters for GE

I have been using these as a replacement for a GE Smartwater Filter in a GE Profile refrigerator (originally used a Culligan filter). The rate of flow is fine and taste is fine. However, after just 3 months, flow slows to a trickle and I am forced to replace it, so I've been getting only 3.5 months use out of these Brita filters. So, while I like these filters as they are significantly cheaper upfront compared to the GE filters, I believe that they are actually costing me more, b/c the G/E filters last me 6-9 months easily.

Well, I bought the first one in 2006 and it was wonderful, at the time I was single and was a nicety for bachelor pad. Since then, I got married and now have a child. Every person that comes into the house are wondered by the trashcan and always ask us where to get it, especially if someone spends the night and realizes how convenient it is. The stainless steel finish with the nice black cap looks appealing and certainly conceals the fact that is it indeed a trash can. The lid is made in such a way that it holds smells from getting out. For example, if you cook chicken one evening and the trash can was not full, you would discard the tray that it comes in and a couple days later, every time you open the can, a bad smell would come out from that tray however the smell would not be detectable otherwise.

Back to why we bought a second trash can; it became a sort of attraction for our little one to the point where she would trigger it and then try to hold the lid down. She did it enough times and eventually so hard that she broke off one of the gears. Now, this happened two months ago, 4+ years after the initial purchase and with tons of use. and over 6 months of her abuse.

Now that we have the second one, I have managed to fix (glue) the gear from the first one and it makes a NICE trash can in my garage!

I may add that the power supply is really not needed. These cans take 4 "D" batteries and they last at least two years in there with constant use (20 - 30 times a day).
