I have terrazzo floors, two cats and the Dirt Dog is perfect for what I need. It's not a vacuum that can potentially blow hair and dust everywhere but a sweeper. It may not get everything in one "run", so I run it again, which is fine because it is cleaning. The only thing I don't like is that hair gets stuck in the front wheel and I haven't figured out how to get the wheel off to clean it out.
