My personal opinion is VERY good. Do I wish I had the money to buy a $300.00 unit? Of course! But for the money...this is a great little safe. I am back to buy my second of these for another part of the house. I love this thing. It is an amazing vacuum. I have the world's worst shedding dog. I'm not kidding. I am talking sweeping up a small couch pillow almost every day. He is big and he is hairy. Plus I have a foster dog. I have bought vacuums at yard sales, new, used ones, everywhere. I go through them like candy. I could not afford the bags since I fill it every few days, so I had to go bagless. Dirt Devils, Bissells, all at the dump. I kept an extra one at all times. The man at the Vacuum Repair Shop was my new best friend.

When it arrived I thought "no way". It was so small and light. I figured maybe a month and it would join it's brothers out on the street for the trashman. I purchased this vacuum after my Eureka Boss 4D had broken down. Overall, this is a great good vacuum. It is very light-weight (I'm not sure how someone could say it was heavy!) and easy to handle. The settings are easy and cleaning the dust bin couldn't be any simpler. The detachable canister is just too awesome. Ours didn't come with the shoulder strap which would make it even better.

The power paw attachment works phenomenal. I have two large breed, shedding dogs so this is important to us. The power paw cleaned the pet beds, stairs and furniture better than any other I have used in the past. The other attachments also work well.

Overall, this is really a great vacuum. I do think for general vacuuming my Eureka (much to my surprise) has been the best at picking up dog hair and dirt. However, this bissell comes in extremely close. Ran across this at a local store and quickly bought it. I had been using an old Sharper Image car ionizer which was partly broken, making weird noises, but still doing it's job. Unfortunately, my car window got smashed and car got robbed. Among the victims was the old ionizer. After cleaning the broken class and sending the car for some major cleaning, I noticed that the car was now smelling like ass from the cleaning solutions the car washers used. In fact, it started smelling like every old car your old uncle drove. Yes, that smell.
Plugging this sucker in (I plugged it into the rear socket, and turned it upside down to try and hide the bright blue light) and the next day viola, car smelled nice and fresh again.
I would recommend people place a little dehumidifier bucket in their car as well to get rid of moisture (as trapped moisture in the car will help fungus grow.. ie. bad if you have respiratory problems).

It does have a smell of ozone to it, so if you're sensitive to that, I suggest airing the car out a bit before you jump in, or remove the unit while using your car and only leave it on overnight. I'm guessing another advantage of the ozone production is that if someone in the car is sick, less chance if you catching whatever it is.. but that's really above and beyond what this product is meant for.
