I have purchased several steam mops over the years and have accepted the fact that most do not last over 12 months. With this said, this is by far the worst steam mop I ever purchased. You are better off spending a few extra dollars for the shark or the bissel. This mop does not move smoothly, cleans the floor only marginally and the cleaning cloths are very cheaply made and slide out of position easily while cleaning the floor.
