This item is great for piece of mind regarding documents you fear losing in a fire or other disaster. Legal documents such as most mortgage closing documents are too long but can be "crammed" in. It doesn't hold a ton but it is what I expected and I don't have a lot of papers that I can't live without. Definitely not a security safe so look elsewhere if that is what you are seeking. It's easily carried off but could be easier. Why no handle???
