The idea that this is a twenty foot extension is completely ludicrous. If you have a strong person hold onto the vacuum it is possible to get this extended to twenty feet, but if you don't have anyone holding onto the vacuum you are lucky to get 6 feet out of it. Any attempt to extend it further will likely topple the vacuum potentially damaging furniture or walls.
