Being frustrated with the never ending laundry to be ironed, I finally decided that it was time to try a steamer. I reviewed many of them and this one seemed to be the best. It said it was 5x quicker than ironing, and I know you can't believe everything you read, but I figured it had to be somewhat better or at least I hoped it was! It took a coulple trys to get used to it but it is a huge time-saver! I can get a double closet of clothes done in about an 1/2-1 hr depending on the items. A couple of down falls so far, is that my husband's pants touch the floor when hanging on the pole (he's 6'4") which makes it very difficult to steam the bottom of them- maybe the sell a longer pole? Also, it's difficult to steam ruffles, but I have a feeling that's where the steam board would come in handy, either that or holding on to them with a clothes pin so you don't burn your fingers. I'm able to steam creases easily by holding the area taught, which some people have said you're not able to do. The hose does get hot, so watch children around it.
