I ordered two of these hampers, one for each of my kid's rooms. I love how sturdy these hampers are. While they are a little heavier than the mesh ones I had been using, the construction on these will go the distance. I like that the inside of the hamper is water-resistant. (It might be considered waterproof, but I don't remember for sure and I don't want to give false information.) I have put used towels in it, and I am not concerned about mold or mildew. Of course, I live in the high desert, so those two things are not normally present here. The hamper itself holds one load of laundry for my high-capacity front load washing machine. I do have the carry the full laundry basket downstairs and through the house, but it is not too cumbersome. And it is definitely light enough for my 4 year old to carry it back upstairs. I would recommend this hamper to anyone with kids or if he/she was looking for a good hamper.
