I ordered these because my Pyrex is getting old and the tops are wearing out. The Snapware Glasslock arrived very quickly (with Amazon prime) and works great. Yes, the lids can be a bit difficult to close at first, but I found that they are easy to close if I draw my hand back out about a foot to the side and then hit the locking part of the lid with the base of my hand- then they close easier.
Also, now that I've had them for a few weeks, they have loosened a bit and are easier to close with my hands and fingers.
